iPod Touch and iPhone Jailbreak Guideline...

I bought my ipod touch a year ago for the purpose of listening to music...
For the 1 year i've been using my ipod for the same purpose til i was being taught of jailbreak...
Jailbreak is some kind of software that allowed your ipod to receive free application on the net since those application is being charge under apple iTune store...
Normally you will find impossible to sync any application in your device unless such application is purchase under iTure store...
But jailbreak did unlocked it...
And honestly it do surprise me after jailbreak and i was thinking "waa...ipod still got such function o...??not listening to music only meh??"=.=
I am buzying with downloading application for my ipod nowadays and there is myriad of application on the net that available for ipod touch and iphone...walau eh~~~
So i got to say...
It is worth for getting yourself an ipod touch...
It is a must for jailbreaking your ipod touch...
It is a stupidity for using ipod touch only listen to music...XD

So is such a luck for those reader who own an ipod touch cz i am going to discover the technique of jailbreaking ipod touch and also iphone on this post...
However, take notes that this technique is ONLY applicable for ipod touch (1st and 2nd gen), iphone 2g and iphone 3g...
And do REMEMBER do not upgrade yr device to version 3.1.1...

First, it is recommended to upgrade yr ipod or iphone to version 3.0...
Version 3.0 including some great new features, as well as all the features from the previous updates...
However, it cost $9.95 for such updates by apple...
Anyway, i got a reliable site providing such update for FREE~~

Download according your device generation and version you want to upgrade...
(Do remember version 3.0 is the limit that available to jailbreak for now..don't download version more than that)
If your device is already 3.0, you also need this firmware for your jailbreaking...
So...just download...^^
In the same time, download this jailbreak software as well...

After both downloads complete, connect your device to your computer and go to the iTunes...
Press the shift button on your keyboard + click on the restore button and u will come to a browser...

Browse the firmware which u have downloaded and let the upgrade begin...
After u have done with the upgrade, extract the jailbreak software which downloaded and run an application named "redsnOw" which in the "redsn0w_win_0.7.2" folder...


Browse the firmware that used for upgrade just now and proceed with the instruction given there step by step to jailbreak your device...
Do remember to install ONLY cydia...

After all the step above complete, run 'cydia' that new installed in yr device and it will run update by itself through wifi from your device...(take notes that this step can be done only with wifi connection of your device and same as the following steps)


After that, click on the 'manage' that stated below and then 'sources'...


After you get into 'sources', click 'edit' on the right corner and follow with 'add' on the left corner...
You be supposed to request enter Cydia/APT URL by now...


Enter this URL address...
"http://iphone.org.hk/apt/"
A new link of this URL will appear after that...


Click and enter this link and download a patch named 'Installd Patch'...


After complete all the steps above, your device is consider as jailbroken and you are able to sync in free application without purchasing on iTune Store...
